As far as I think I never can have enough stock!!!! So there is always a panic a few days before the market making bags frantically!! Secondly I learnt early in the market game to have a check list as there is always I leave at home, so the night before when packing the car the check list has to ticked off. And then I try to decide what to wear to the market, which lately has been a real guessing game as it just been so hot!!!, I think to myself that we are at the Wharf and near the water so there is always a breeze and it is April and May so it has to cool down sooner or later......and the later it is. The weather has been anything but cold, magnificently hot!!
Tell us something other than your craft/work that you feel passionate about?
I am really enjoying the recycling side of my business. It has been an eye opener for me as I was never really an op shopper! so to pay a visit to many op shops looking for certain things is amazing in the way that there is just so much stuff that we give away, a real throw away society!! So with the kids being young and recycling being an important part in looking after their future world, I love the fact that I am contributing in this way, but then also just loving so much what I am doing.

I am doing a 96km trek through the Gold Coast Hinterland in July called the Kokoda Challenge. This information is enough to tell you that I am insane!!!!I Have been training obsessively for the event so hopefully will have the stamina and mental capacity to see me to the end of the torturous hike!!My team of 4(my brother convinced me to do this with him - how?? I still don't know!) and I have been training on the actual event track so I know what to expect, and fear!!! The Kokoda Challenge is a Fund Raiser for troubled youth, the Kokoda Youth Program is an experiential learning program offering young people the opportunity to realise their full potential and gain a brighter future for themselves and their families. I will be calling on the spirit of the ANZAC to see me through this distance - Endurance, Courage, Sacrifice and Mate ship. It is no doubt going to test my inner strengths and weaknesses as I push my body and mind to its limit. Any sponsorship or donations very welcome and appreciated!
