A perfect winters evening here in Brisbane last night to kick off the very first Boutique Markets Retailer Rendezvous at
Byblos Bar at Portside Wharf. Above, Louise from

Renee Treml (middle right). With many retailers welcoming the idea of coming along to share a quite drink and a laugh with faces old and new. For many a chance to get to know familiar face away from the busy market day, where often they don't get a chance to even glance at the person in the marquee next door.

Mondo Cherry and Melissa from
Taybian, lounging around in the gorgeously themed Moroccan lounge that we had all to ourselves, complete with ornate copper punched tables and luxurious drapes.
We even had a visitor from abroad, with Sue from Mondo Cherry gracing us for the evening. A night out with their mum, the clever design team of Joy, Sue and Clare from

We would like to thank everyone who joined us last night, with many coming from as far away as Ipswich and the Sunshine Coast. For those who couldn't make it, we have already begun planning the next one!

It took sooooo long to get home last night, travelling all the way to Ipswich :D

Thanks ladies for organising – had a wonderful night! Great to meet and catch up with some more retailers, market day just goes by too quickly...
Looks like great fun was had by all! I had a work do so missed out but hope to make the next one!
GOt carried away looking at all the wonderful retailers and their wares....fabulous arrangements and great website...loved browsing!!
