christmas market weekend wrap up

twilight market wrap up, Friday December 11th

As the sun went down and the stars came out, the twilight market came to life with cool breezes, gorgeous music, twinkling marquees and relaxed shoppers. Such a beautiful night, the rain stayed away, and restaurants spilled out onto the wharf filled to the brim with Brisbane locals out for a bite to eat and a stroll through the marketplace.

with live music through out the night, the atmosphere was as electric as the night sky with a amazing display of lightening in the distant skies.

and they came and they shopped, at times the marquees so full you couldn't get in or out!

and finally the sky fell black, and the marquee tops glowed against the night sky...such a beautiful relaxing night on the wharf.

Christmas market day wrap up, Sunday 13th December

our final market for the 2009, and the crowds were out early to finish their Christmas shopping. Our biggest market yet, with 62 retailer showcasing their wares.

It was hats, sunscreen and water bottles all day as the market place heated up under Brisbane's summer sunshine.

not the catch cry for the day - just the opposite, it was HOT, HOT, HOT! and the retailers cooled down with a little present from us...a cold lemonade ice block!

Thank you to our wonderful and supportive customers as well as our extended online friends - the last 6 months have been wonderful and we look forward to the new year with excitement and anticipation.
