Seasonal Friday....

It's that time again....
every morning mothers and fathers around the country are already frustrated with the creation of an interesting, non-processed and easy lunchbox for the kids to take to school.
Today was day 3 for us and I am already throwing food away when they come home and wondering what on earth to put in there to make it more appealing!?!
Nothing beats home cooking and I know I won't do it every week, but yesterday I made a batch of Jam Drops and they got gobbled up quick sticks!!
What are some of your lunchbox secrets?

Jam Drops

Cream 125g butter and 100g castor sugar, add 1 tsp vanilla and 1 egg and mix well. Then sift in 190g SR flour and stir. Roll into balls, press centre with thumb and fill indent with a little jam. Bake at 180 degrees for about 12-15 mins.
Try not to eat them all at once!

Yum....they sound delicious. There's nothing quite like home baked cookies. I remember when I was at school my Mum would always bake cookies and cakes for our lunches. All of my classmates were jealous and I never knew why. Perhaps I took it for granted. Have a lovely weekend. Melinda xo
