guest blogger - cute as buttons

Last year, Deb from Denim by Deborah and I had a bit of a natter about the possibility of using some of her stash of left over jeans legs. I quite liked the notion of finding a way to recycle this great fabric and also to expand on the Cute as Buttons range. After many cups of tea and quite a bit of fun playing with denim and some of my favourite prints, I was happy with the new additions to the family!

Denim is such a tough and versatile fabric, it goes with anything, wears well, and is quite forgiving when it comes to mess, making it the perfect addition to a Cute as Buttons wardrobe. Our up cycled, denim skirts and jeans are just perfect for pint-sized people to wear as they explore their world. At Cute as Buttons we believe children are precious – not clothes, so whatever they wear, they need to play in it and learn in it and then just toss it in the washing machine.

We launched our denim skirts and appliqued tees at the March Boutique Markets and when we are back there on the 11th of April, you can look forward to denim shorts and longs for the lads!
