In exciting news for kids and pets all around Brisbane, June’s Boutique Markets at Portside Wharf will be themed with special activities and entertainment for the little ones and all creatures great and small.

The Kids and Pets Big Day Out at the Boutique Markets will feature children’s and dog fashion parades from stallholders, an animal farm, colouring competitions, roving performers and the always popular sand wizard (colouring in with coloured sands).

There is also the opportunity to show off your treasured pet in the ‘Best Dressed Pet’ competition with the opportunity to win a $100 Boutique Markets voucher and a ‘Doggy Pamper Pack’ from stallholder and creator of dog accessories and gourmet biscuits, Rocstar.

Entry is free and the Boutique Markets is encouraging visitors to make a gold coin donation to support the recipient charity, Guide Dogs Queensland for participation in with the colouring competitions and to enter the ‘Best Dressed Pet’ competition.

Making a special appearance will be world-renowned animal communicator Liz Callen who will be conducting readings on pets either at the Boutique Markets on the day or via a photograph at the discounted price of $25 for 15 minutes.

8am to 11am: Registration for the ‘Best Dressed Pet’ competition at the main Boutique Markets marquee – a professional photo will be taken of owner and pet and posted to the Boutique Markets Facebook site for viewers to vote for their favourite
8am to 1pm: Animal farm and sand wizardry
9am to 12pm: Roving performers
12pm: Children and dog fashion parades
