It was so nice to be opposite Sandrine Marsh on Sunday at the market - her stall is always so visually appealing and her products so well made and stylish. Each time I looked up Sandrine was either attending to customers who were trying on her beautiful wares or taking an order for another one of her silk and wool summer shawls which were selling like hot cakes!

The thing I like the most about supporting local artisans is that you can discuss your needs with the designer and have things custom made - size, colour and shape - you become part of the creation - it's so fun to have an interactive shopping experience.

Sandrine is a regular boutique market stall holder so you will find her at Portside Wharf on the 2nd Sunday of each month (next market October 11). She will be at the Racecourse Road Street Party this Sunday (September 20). Sandrine's creations are also available in her etsy shop.
