Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival - Portside Wharf

On the weekend Portside Wharf hosted the opening of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival, with the very bright and colourful swimwear parade. Kerry and I were thrilled to be invited and spent a fabulous afternoon soaking up the sunshine and the fashion. The parade spectacularly cat walked off the moored Ammari Fantasea, adorned in the swimwear from 6 amazing designers.

Following the Show we joined the other VIPs on board the MV Fantasea Ammari and were treated to a special presentation by Napoleon Perdis, international creator and founder of Napoleon Perdis.

We then enjoyed a leisurely cruise down the Brisbane River, with spectacular views from the top deck, a lovely light lunch and cool drinks.

We were accompanied on the day by the lovely and charming Patrick Burns from Portside Wharf, and to whom we owe special thanks for our invitation to this fabulous event. Portside truly shone on Sunday, a testament to this amazing venue and the hard work that has gone on behind the scenes masterfully co-ordinated by Patrick and his team.
