FAB FINDS, from over the seas....

I fell in love instantly with these gorgeous creatures lovingly created by Chicago based designer and Feltadermist Girl Savage. Felt is her favorite material for her whimsical animal creations. Loving the warmth of felt fabric and how it appeals texturally to her eye, these little feltidermy and plush creatures appeal to the impish child side of my personality.

Hand stitching allows me to connect and bond with my work and makes me feel as if I'm molding and breathing life into my animals while I'm creating. Kinda like Geppetto!
You can purchase Girl Savage's creations at girlsavage.etsy.com.

Designer in Focus - Pedrosprout

How cute are these? I first stumbled across these lovely booties last year on a Etsy shopping trip and they have forever stayed in my mind. They are from Pedrosprout, lovingly created by Michelle, a Brisbane based designer who sells made to order booties in a gorgeous array of colours and styles.

Apple baby Booties - on sale for a short time

Pedrosprout booties are made from Kunin Eco spun felt, a high quality polyester fibre made from 100% certified recycled plastic bottles. They are fully lined with no exposed seams and have a Velcro strap to help them stay on.

Such amazing intricate workmanship - these booties are made to order in just 5 days! WOW!
