Retailer of the Month - Black and Bird

This months retailer of the month goes to...Black & Bird. Loni made a wonderful effort to best present her retail space to appeal to our very discerning retail audience and it shows through the use of the gorgeous paper balls hanging from the 'ceiling' of her marquee.

with a combination of eye catching design and fabulous products, Black and Bird's retail space was a clever mix of cutting edge cool and vintage inspired clever...

retailer spotlight - evie rose

I wanted to share with you a some images from one of the prettiest marquees at our marketplace. Katie from Evie Rose, has created the most delightful blue and white space to house her gorgeous little girls accessories, and we love it! Katie took out the coveted Retailer of the Month award for October and you can see why from these shots!

At the Evie Rose marquee, you will find lovingly handmade accessories with a difference, using high quality materials and one off finds! Choose from their signature ‘Petite Fleur' - a four in one accessory, our ‘Blossom Bobbies' and more.

AUGUST Retailer of the Month

Congratulations goes to Simone Leete from MiMi FiRST, who took out the coveted Retailer of the Month award at our August Market. August was MiMi FiRST's debut at our marketplace, and what a spectacular debut it was.

The prize, a double pass to the cinemas at Dendy Portside, is sure to delight, and the choice of recipient is based upon marquee presentation. MiMi FiRST's marquee was a treasure trove of brilliant styling and design, backed up by her fabulous collection.

The product range was full and vibrant, with items complementing each other through clever visual display. It actually felt like stepping inside a little boutique, and was made more inviting by Simone's warm and welcoming smile and conversation.

So well done Simone, and a big thanks to all of the retailers for their fabulous presentation within our marketplace. We are proud as punch to say that our Boutique Markets Retailers have truly set the standard around town for fabulous product and brilliant presentation! Well done!

July market wrap-up!

so if you were down at Portside last Sunday for our July market, you would have sensed that there was more than just a few people about....

Well, it's been confirmed, after our meeting with Portside this week, that 14000 people came along on the day!

they just kept coming through, all day long, it literally didn't stop and the feedback from retailers and the public has been wonderful. we have had several heart warming emails from retailers exclaiming that the July market was their best market day ever at any marketplace!
Many retailers handing out every last business card they had, and the constant question from customers was "when is your next market?"

we sensed it was going to be a big day from the beginning, with our website traffic reaching a 600% increase in traffic in comparison to last months total, in the first 7 days of the month. By the time our July 12th market day had arrived the website traffic was off the dial! Portside's website actually crashed on market day unable to bare the load of hits from the eager public in anticipation for the fabulous events for the day! Unheard of!!!

July also saw the launch of our Retailer of the Month - our very deserving recipient Helen from Ruby 2 Go Go. Helen's eye catching stall was constantly filled with customers, drawn immediately to it by her vivid red and white displays, and gorgeous product! Congratulations Helen! Helen wins herself a double pass to Dendy Cinemas at Portside.
